Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal have been awarded the contract to test and calibrate all equipment for Energy Queensland, the amalgamation of Ergon and Energex, ensuring the safety of electrical linesmen and other electrical workers state-wide.

Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal started its life in 2009 after CEO and Founder, Andre Borell, saw that the electrical industry was lacking a customer-focused mobile testing and calibration service provider.  Nearly a decade on, Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal have won the largest contract in Queensland within their industry.

“This is a great opportunity for Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal and really shows what we can do”, says Borell.

“This contract allows us to grow incredibly quickly, and we are still looking to hire new people across all areas of the business.”

“Winning this contract has been a goal of ours since the business started, so seeing that come to fruition is very exciting.”

“Energy Queensland awarding this tender to Mobile Test and Cal is as much of a credit to Energy Queensland as it is to us. They clearly see the importance of supporting Queensland businesses and we are very proud that we can be that business.”

This is not the first time Mobile Test ‘n’ Cal have seen significant growth. They been named on the Fast 100 two years in a row. Since beginning, they have expanded their capabilities to not only service the electrical industry but can now test and calibrate equipment with the areas of dimensional, pressure, environmental, mechanical and temperature.
